Sunlight Solocarbon® Far-Infrared Sauna Systems

There are many reported health benefits attained from the use of a far-infrared (FIR) Sauna and so it is important to look carefully at the infrared heating system when making a decision to use or to purchase a sauna.

The most important facts that should be considered are:

  • Does the heater produce Far-Infrared or just infrared?
  • Do the heating elements maintain the optimum micron output of far infrared throughout the entire sauna session?
  • Are the heater's safe or do they become dangerously hot to touch?
  • Has the heater been scientifically tested?
  • Other infrared saunas contain considerably smaller systems that are required to work harder to create heat, and therefore produce shorter wave that penetrate body tissue less.

Sunlight Solocarbon® Saunas have been independently tested and proven to operate in the optimum level of the far infrared heat required for maximum health benefits. The Solocarbon® panels featured in all Sunlight saunas provide gentle total surround FIR heat. This safe, soft, gentle heat is only possible from the largest heating surface area - up to 27 times greater than other FIR saunas. The outcome is a deeper sweat at lower temperatures that both relax and detox the body and cleanse the purify the skin. The heaters have no metal surfaces and are safe to touch.

What is Far Infrared?

  • Infrared light is part of the Sun's invisible spectrum of light that has the ability to penetrate the human tissue.
  • Unlike sunbathing, far-infrared heat is completely healthy and safe. You can relax in a far-infrared sauna and it will never cause your skin to burn.
  • Far-infrared saunas increase the body's core temperature thus resulting in a much deeper, more detoxifying sweat from the cellular level of the skin where many toxins are housed.
  • Compared to hot rock / steam saunas which heat the air, far-infrared saunas use soothing dry heat that is well ventilated and extremely comfortable and relaxing.

There are many doctors, chiropractors and other health professionals worldwide who use and recommend Sunlight Solocarbon® Saunas in their clinics. Dr. Rachel West is an Osteopath and Family Practice Physician in Santa Monica, California. Dr. West's practice integrates conventional medicine with homeopathy, cranial-sacral work, yoga and bio-dynamic manipulation. Dr. West writes:

"In today's world where we are all exposed to toxins in the air and water, as well as through medications vaccines and dental work, it is vital to integrate a detoxification regimen into one's daily life. Detoxification is important because it strengthens the body's immune system and helps the body's biochemical processes function efficiently so that we are better able to digest the nutrients in our foods. Sunlight Saunas® are different than regular saunas because the Far-infrared light waves penetrate facial and muscular tissue, helping to rid the body of toxins that are stored in the deeper layers, rather than just the simple sweat glands that the conventional Far-Infrared saunas activate. Sunlight Saunas® also allow the circulatory system to have increased circulation and oxygenation".

Sunlight Solocarbon® Saunas come in either Cedar or Basswood (suitable for those with allergies). Also available in the Solo System (see photo above). This unique double dome and optional pad allow you to focus far-infrared therapy where it is most needed. It is completely portable allowing you to move it from room to room.
