The Ion401 purifies the air by using an electrostatic collection system to attract allergens and contaminants.
Negative ions
The Ion401 generates electrically charged negative ions (a crucial component of healthy air: negative ions have a vitalising effect and promote better breathing health). The negative ions attach to airborne contaminants which become trapped on collector blades through an effect similar to static electricity. Heavier contaminants simply fall to the floor ready to be vacuumed.
Filter-less
The Ion401 is a filter-less air purifier and ioniser capable of trapping microscopic airborne particles of 1 micron or larger. There are no filters to replace with the Ion401: the pollutants are trapped on easily-cleaned stainless steel blades that need to be wiped clean with a damp cloth from time to time.
Efficient and quiet
The Ion401 can purify and ionise air in up to 60 square metres. It is energy efficient and inexpensive to operate. No replacement filters are required, resulting in even bigger savings over time.
