Assists in reducing joint inflammation and swelling. Blackmores Lyprinol® has been shown to diminish osteoarthritic symptoms and joint pain, by helping to reduce joint inflammation and swelling. It can help improve the quality of life of arthritis sufferers.

Lyprinol® helps control inflammation, swelling and resulting pain but does not inhibit the body's healing response. Inflammation is a normal reaction to physical, chemical or biological injury that helps the body localises the problem to start the regeneration or repair of damaged tissue. Inflammation is not always beneficial in some cases, and can sometimes cause further damage and injury, such as in rheumatoid arthritis sufferers. Lyprinol® directly inhibits the action of enzymes involved in the inflammatory pathway, reducing both inflammation and pain without interfering with the positive healing aspects of the body's normal inflammatory response. Lyprinol® has a more complex and different lipid structure than other marine oils. It contains a number of naturally anti-inflammatory omega-3 fatty acids, regarded as being essential to explaining the potent action of Lyprinol®.

Adults – The recommended starting dose is 2 capsules twice a day with meals in the morning and evening, for up to 8 weeks. Capsule contents may be squeezed into juice, milk or cereal.
